T.C. Spencer Pryor

Arkadios Capital, one of the fastest-growing hybrid broker-dealers in the country, announced today that T.C. Spencer Pryor, a prominent Atlanta attorney and partner at the multinational law firm Alston & Bird, has joined the firm as Chief Legal and Corporate Strategy Officer. In this newly created executive role, Pryor will work directly alongside Arkadios Founder & CEO David Millican to lead legal and corporate strategy and accelerate revenue growth as the company enters its next phase of expansion.

“Spence is a transformative hire for Arkadios,” said Millican. “He has been at the intersection of law, business and public policy for his entire career. Spence will be my right hand as we continue to scale the business, support our advisors and seize the opportunities ahead.”

A highly respected legal mind and trusted advisor to business and political leaders across the United States, Pryor brings more than 20 years of experience in high-stakes litigation, cybersecurity, regulatory defense, corporate compliance and crisis management. His career includes serving as Counsel to the U.S. Deputy Attorney General, Assistant United States Attorney, and being repeatedly ranked by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America® for white-collar criminal defense and regulatory matters. He has advised public and private companies, universities, nonprofits and C-suite executives on legal matters of all types in the U.S. and globally.

In his role, Pryor will lead the firm’s legal function, shape the firm’s strategic initiatives and advise on growth opportunities across Arkadios’s nationwide platform. He will also play a central role in expanding partnerships and enhancing the firm’s value proposition to successful independent financial advisors.

“Arkadios’s recent trajectory is impressive, and there is significant room for continued growth,” Pryor said. “I’ve served on the advisory board, so I am familiar with the business, and I look forward to continuing to learn. My experience as a lawyer, having worked with public and private companies of all sizes for over two decades, will be an asset for David and the team.”

He joins Arkadios from Alston & Bird, one of the nation’s premier law firms, with more than 800 attorneys across 13 offices in the United States, Europe and the UK. In his legal practice, Pryor has developed deep relationships with leading business, civic and political figures across Georgia and the country. He was named a “Client Service All-Star” by BTI Consulting Group, the gold standard in measuring elite client service in the legal industry.

“It’s perfect timing. I have always told people that if I ever left Alston & Bird, it wouldn’t be for another law firm,” he said. “It would be to get involved with a business where my expertise could help them reach the next level. David and I have been friends for more than two decades, and I have the drive to put another 15 years of hard work into learning and helping Arkadios grow.”
