David Millican, as CEO and founder of Arkadios Capital, has established a hybrid independent broker-dealer managing more than $20 billion in assets. With a background as a former advisor, he prioritizes crafting a premium platform from the advisor’s perspective, empowering entrepreneurial advisors with the flexibility, support, and resources needed to grow their businesses. Under his leadership, Arkadios has become one of the fastest-growing independent broker-dealers in the country.

David has been named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Award for his entrepreneurial leadership and success in building Arkadios Capital. Arkadios has earned national recognition from Financial Planning Magazine as an IBD Elite, ranking No. 1 in Growth in Producing Advisors, No. 2 in Total Revenue Growth, No. 7 in Revenue Growth per Advisor, and No. 22 in Total Revenue in the Industry. The firm has also been recognized as the second-fastest-growing independent broker-dealer in the nation and has been named a Pacesetter for five consecutive years and a Georgia Fast 40 company for four consecutive years.

Before founding Arkadios Capital, David served as Principal Managing Partner for ACG Wealth, co-founding the independent wealth advisory firm in 2002. Under his leadership, they acquired 14 Registered Independent Advisory firms, propelling it to become one of the nation’s fastest-growing RIAs with over $2 billion in assets under management. Forbes Magazine hailed ACG as the “Top Emerging RIA” in 2013.

David has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Alabama and actively serves as a director on multiple boards dedicated to economic development and civic engagement. As an Atlanta native, he resides in Buckhead with his wife Kacey and four children: Liza, Ellie, John, and William.
